Overview
Ardi’s retail direct-sales lead management is moving into the CRM, while quotes and policies stay in the insurance administration system. The work is in progress: the structure is built, and the automations and integrations come next.
The need
Retail sales leads were to move into the CRM while quotes and policies stay in the insurance administration system. Statuses, timelines and integrations needed firm decisions before building, because the platform’s structural choices are hard to undo later.
The design
An early prototype set out the spaces, team folders, agent lists, fields and statuses. The integrations were specified: client data from the CRM to the administration system for registration and premium calculation, product and status updates back to the CRM, and leads from outside sources into it. For the client’s formal specification came a gap analysis, a build checklist and, after an audit of the live workspace, an agenda of decisions.
The build
The structure was then built, largely through the API: a dedicated task type for retail leads with its own fields, team folders, and a list for every agent generated from the department roster. It was checked with smoke tests and a realistic set of Georgian test data.
Result
In progress. The structure is live and tested; the automations and the integrations are next.
