Epsilon brand system

Overview

Epsilon Solutions is my own company for business-process automation and systems integration. Its brand system covers the wordmark, colour, Latin and Georgian type, print, social, email and presentation templates, a 26-board brand book and a coded design system. Python scripts generate all of it from one tokens file.

One look on every surface

A young company needed its website, decks, proposals, print, social profiles and email to look and sound the same without new decisions each time. Earlier versions of the kit were scattered across files, and the old icon, the E reduced to three bars, read as a hamburger menu. Everything also had to work in Georgian and English and meet WCAG AA contrast.

One source, every asset

A single tokens.css holds the colour, type, spacing, pattern and glass values, and Python generators, written by Claude Code agents under my direction, build every asset from it. The output is a 26-board brand book in HTML and PDF, 13 print items in English and Georgian with press-ready PDFs, a social kit, 4 MJML email templates, a PowerPoint template with 11 layouts, and a React and shadcn/ui app with 27 branded components. Imagery comes from the Gemini and OpenAI image APIs through one script with a spend ledger and a 30 USD cap, and the mockups place the exact rendered artwork on generated blanks, so a logo drawn by a model never ships.

The search for a mark

A standalone icon to sit beside the wordmark was explored over 11 rounds, under fixed rules: one colour, straight lines at 90 and 45 degrees, and a shape that holds at 16 px as a favicon, app icon or messenger avatar. Every mark was drawn and measured in code, checked pixel by pixel at small sizes and tried on nine social and messenger screens; weak candidates were dropped with the reason written down. Three marks remain, C1 Pinwheel, A4 Column and A6 Tiers, and none is approved yet, so the full wordmark is still the only logo.

Result

The brand book PDF went from 64.6 MB to 839 KB in v4.3, and the v5.0 handoff package for vendors holds 1,016 files (112.4 MB) in 15 folders. A QA script passes 11 of its 12 checks, AI imagery cost 12.18 USD of the 30 USD cap, and contrast is measured from the tokens: Blue 900 on white is 11.8:1.
