Overview
A working, read-only client for the Bank of Georgia’s Business Online API, with its own documentation of how the API actually behaves. It is the planned base for an Epsilon invoicing tool that matches incoming payments automatically.
Tools
- Python
- OAuth 2.0
- Bank of Georgia API
Invoices matched to the bank
Epsilon wanted invoicing that matches incoming payments against the bank statement automatically. The bank’s official API documentation turned out to be wrong in places, and the same API can move money, so the integration had to be safe by design.
GET only
A Python client with no dependencies handles the OAuth 2.0 token flow and sends GET requests only, so no call can ever make a transfer. Every endpoint was tested against the live API.
What the docs got wrong
Eight documentation files cover the overview, authentication, endpoints, verified behaviour, corrections to the official docs, the 196 result codes and the security rules. For example, the statement summary works only on the v2 path, and paging works on neither version.
